Jones and Jordan Willis have been added to the reserve/COVID-19 list, increasing the team's total number of players on the list to nine. The team has also waived linebacker Kiko Alonso due to a failed physical. He was part of the trade that sent linebacker Kwon Alexander to the New Orleans Saints. The San Francisco 49ers have signed safety Chris Edwards to a one-year deal. The team has also opened the practice window for two players on injured reserve — running backs Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. Mostert has been on injured reserve since October 24 as he recovered from a high-ankle sprain during a Week 6 contest against the Los Angeles Rams.
