Several San Francisco 49ers players took part in this week's State of the Franchise event. The team came just short of achieving its goal last season and hopes to finish the job during the 2020 season. Players were asked about the goal for the upcoming season. While he understands the journey will be difficult, head coach Kyle Shanahan has already stated that his expectations are to get back to the point where the team stumbled, and right that wrong. Florio doubles down on criticism after 49ers players say the Super Bowl is the goal

It's Super Bowl or bust for the San Francisco 49ers, as it probably should be. That's what the team's head coach, Kyle Shanahan, is thinking. That's what his players are thinking. Shanahan recently spoke with team radio voice Greg Papa for the 49ers' State of the Franchise event and shared exactly what his expectations are for the upcoming season. "I know we were good enough to win that Super Bowl, and we didn't," Shanahan said. "And that's something we've got to live with. And that's why the state of the franchise, right now, is we've got to get right back to that moment (in the Super Bowl).
