Despite spending some time as division foes before the NFL realigned the NFC West, the San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints aren't exactly rivals. A few more games like the Week 14 nail-biter last season could change that. Whoever is running the 49ers' social media account might want to ignite something, judging by an impressively clever tweet on Thursday. The post was meant to remind fans to wear masks during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which threatens the 2020 NFL season and sports in general. And that individual did so while taking a shot at the Saints. Be a saint. Grab a face mask.

49ers' Kyle Shanahan expects Jimmy Garoppolo to get better each week, excited to get to work

Kyle Shanahan spoke with the voice of the San Francisco 49ers, Greg Papa, during the team's virtual State of the Franchise event this week. The head coach was asked what he sees from his quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, who isn't worried about recovering from an ACL injury this offseason.
