So close. San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Arik Armstead had a career-high and team-leading 10 sacks last season and added two more in the playoffs. The team rewarded him with a five-year deal worth up to $85 million. NFL Network is counting down the NFL Top 100 Players of 2020. Opt-out deadline set for Thursday; no 49ers players or staff exercise option yet

The deadline to opt-out of the 2020 season is set for Thursday at 1 p.m. PT, according to ESPN. Raheem Mostert has some big aspirations. The biggest football-related one might be the San Francisco 49ers running back being motivated by Canton. He hopes to have a good enough career to one day find himself in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. If last season's Green Bay Packers defense were the voters, Mostert might be a shoo-in.
