Kendrick Bourne is one of several players on the San Francisco 49ers who may have played his final game with the team on Sunday, but it sounds like he'd prefer to extend his time in the Bay Area well past this season if he has any say in the matter.
Bourne just finished his fourth season with the 49ers and is now slated to be an unrestricted free agent after re-signing with the team as a restricted free agent in the spring. Bourne has 132 catches for 1,693 yards and 11 touchdowns since joining the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington in 2017. He has also established himself over his career as one of the team's top depth options at receiver, but the 49ers have a number of key players to re-sign this offseason in addition to Bourne and a limited amount of

The San Francisco 49ers embark on an offseason filled with more questions than answers. However, the main focus of the media will be on the team's quarterback situation. Will Jimmy Garoppolo be back in 2021, or has he suited up in red and gold for the last time?
The 49ers players know the situation and eagerly await to see how it is resolved. They want to see Garoppolo return and endorsed him as the team's quarterback in 2021.
"We'll see," wide receiver Kendrick Bourne said when asked about the situation. "I don't know if they're talking about drafting anybody, but I believe in Jimmy, I believe in [C.J. Beathard] and [Nick Mullens]. I play with all those guys. I caught a touchdown from each one of them, so I don't really mind who's back there,

Quarterback C.J. Beathard had a good game on Sunday, according to Pro Football Focus. His 81.3 overall grade from the analytics site was the best among San Francisco 49ers players. Beathard finished the game completing 25-of-37 passes for 273 yards with a touchdown and a passer rating of 98.1.
On top of the insurmountable number of injuries the team endured this past season, the 49ers spent the last month in Arizona after Santa Clara County COVID-19 restrictions banned contact sports.
"Hopefully, we don't ever have to do this again, first off," Beathard said after the game, ready to finally get home. "But, there were some good times, some good memories here with the guys when you're all kind of bunked up in the same hotel you get to see them in passing a little
