The 49ers' sack celebrations have been frequent. Nick Bosa, who has seven sacks after eight games, Dee Ford (5.5) and Arik Armstead (5.5) are on pace to become the third 49ers' trio to record 10-plus sacks in a season, and the first since 1997.

Bryant Young will become the 29th inductee into the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame. The Super Bowl-winning defensive tackle jumped on a video conference call with reporters on Wednesday to discuss the honor, which was officially announced on Tuesday by CEO Jed York. NFLPA medical director advises against player-organized workouts, like the 49ers' in Nashville

The NFLPA medical director, Dr. Thom Mayer, has issued a statement advising that NFL players no longer organize practices together, like the ones that San Francisco 49ers players held this past week in the Nashville, Tennessee area. Those throwing sessions, organized by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, and had 15 other players participating, resulted in a positive test for the COVID-19 virus.
