The 49ers' Solomon Thomas has two sacks this season, but just one "real sack," in his estimation. On Sunday, the No. 3 pick in 2017 who is now a reserve had a takedown of Rams quarterback Jared Goff that showcased Thomas' quickness and evoked memories of his All-America college days. In fact, the 49ers defensive lineman agreed it was a "Stanford sack."

Bryant Young will become the 29th inductee into the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame. The Super Bowl-winning defensive tackle jumped on a video conference call with reporters on Wednesday to discuss the honor, which was officially announced on Tuesday by CEO Jed York.
