Pro Football Focus ranked the NFL's top tight end groups, and the San Francisco 49ers stole the top spot on the list. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have the best tight end in the league — George Kittle — to help boost your rankings. "George Kittle has become the new standard for multi-faceted, all-around tight ends," wrote Steve Palazzolo. NFL.com ranks 49ers running back No. 22 among NFL RB1s, but its probably not who you think

NFL.com analyst Maurice Jones-Drew, a former NFL running back, ranked all 32 RB1s across the league. He placed one San Francisco 49ers running back at No. 22. Although, it's probably not the player who first popped into your head. Raheem Mostert was the 49ers' leading rusher during the 2019 season. He gained 772 yards on 137 carries with eight rushing and two receiving touchdowns before a playoff performance that made everyone take notice of the former undrafted free agent. NFL cancels Weeks 1 and 4 of preseason, eliminating Broncos, Chargers from 49ers' schedule

The NFL is canceling Weeks 1 and 4 of the preseason, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. The league is reportedly expected to announce the decision on Thursday. "The move was driven by two primary factors," writes Florio. "First, teams who will be playing preseason games on the road won't want to move that many people. Second, given that no teams had on-field practice sessions in the offseason, coaches would rather have the extra time to work with their teams, and that will happen if they don't have to worry about two extra preseason games."
