Mike Garafolo of NFL Network is reporting that Richie James Jr. will be sidelined at least two months with a broken bone in his wrist. Deebo Samuel (broken foot, as per @RapSheet) isn't the only #49ers WR to suffer an injury recently. Sources say WR/KR Richie James Jr. broke a bone in his wrist while training. Likely to be sidelined at least two months.—

Several San Francisco 49ers players took part in this week's State of the Franchise event. The team came just short of achieving its goal last season and hopes to finish the job during the 2020 season. Players were asked about the goal for the upcoming season. While he understands the journey will be difficult, head coach Kyle Shanahan has already stated that his expectations are to get back to the point where the team stumbled, and right that wrong. 49ers' Deebo Samuel says he'll be back better than ever in 10 weeks

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Debo Samuel is having surgery today after suffering a Jones fracture of his left foot during a player-organized throwing session at the Brentwood Academy, just outside Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday. NFL insider Ian Rapoport was the first to report the news and said on NFL Network that the second-year receiver would miss between 12 to 16 weeks as he recovers.
