It's unclear if the 49ers will have Pro Bowl pass-rusher Dee Ford on Sunday when they host the Steelers. The good news: They will have Ronald Blair. The 49ers' first edge rusher off the bench behind Ford and rookie Nick Bosa certainly looked like a starter in a 41-17 win over the Bengals in Week 2: Blair had five tackles, three for losses, a sack and a quarterback hit in 35 snaps.

I know the work that I'm putting in now is going to show up, and I think I'm going to be a much-smarter player next year. "I'm just going to know how to approach my opponents much better, and I'm not going to waste rushes. I'm not going to make silly
