The 49ers will use the 2019 NFL Draft to honor the loss of longtime scout Reggie Cobb, who died on Saturday morning. Cobb's son, DeMarcus, is expected to announced San Francisco's second-round pick (No. 36).

Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports that former Missouri State wide receiver Terique Owens worked out in front of more than 20 NFL scouts today at the University of Missouri. Among the scouts present were representatives from the San Francisco 49ers. Owens' performance was highlighted by a 40-yard dash time of 4.51 seconds, a vertical jump of 38.5 inches, and a broad jump of 10 feet, four inches. The NFL has reportedly penalized the San Francisco 49ers for payroll accounting errors. The team is losing a fifth-round draft pick in 2025 and having its fourth-round pick in 2024 moved to the end of the round as punishment. The San Francisco 49ers officially announced several roster moves today. Among them was the signing of defensive end Leonard Floyd to a two-year deal. Additionally, the team announced the signing of linebacker De'Vondre Campbell, cornerback Chase Lucas, offensive lineman Brandon Parker, and cornerback Isaac Yiadom to one-year deals and the re-signing of offensive lineman Jon Feliciano to a one-year deal.
