Running back Frank Gore, one of the most beloved players in recent 49ers history, will keep on going. Gore, who will turn 36 in May, will sign a one-year, $2 million contract with the Bills when free agency begins Wednesday, ESPN reported. Gore, the 49ers' all-time rushing leader, has played for the Colts (2015-2017) and Dolphins (2018) since his last snap with the team that selected him in the third round of the NFL draft. Gore rushed for 11,073 yards with the 49ers, dwarfing the figure of runner-up Joe Perry (7,344). Now consider this: Gore has rushed for 3,675 yards since leaving the 49ers, a total that would rank eighth in franchise history.

According to NFL Insider, Benjamin Allbright, the Pittsburgh Steelers are trying to trade for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, to add him as a weapon for QB Russell Wilson. The Steelers added Wilson earlier this offseason after the Denver Broncos decided to move on from him. Aiyuk, if paired with Steelers WR George Pickens, would give Wilson two dangerous threats in the passing game.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech.
Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area was the first to report that the 49ers were discussing a potential reunion with Taylor. The receiver was part of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch's first draft class in 2017 and spent his first four NFL seasons with the team.

The San Francisco 49ers announced that they have signed cornerback Rock Ya-Sin to a one-year deal. He becomes the third cornerback to join the team this offseason. The Niners previously signed free agents Isaac Yiadom and Chase Lucas to one-year deals.
