By David Bonilla
Jul 3, 2020

In his first full NFL season as a starter, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for the fourth-most single-season passing yards in franchise history, put up clutch performances in some regular-season nail-biters, and led the team to a division crown and the No. 1 seed in the NFC on the way to a Super Bowl appearance. He had a number of games where he had to come out huge on some 3rd-and-longs, some last-minute drives, and make some big plays that won us some games." Shanahan noted Garoppolo's improvement from last offseason, to the start of the regular
