Last week, the 49ers held their second annual State of the Franchise event, which can also be termed their Two-Hour Team Infomercial (the surprising takeaway: The state of the franchise has never been better!). It was an evening at the cozy California Theatre in San Jose that featured slick videos, more than 1,000 charged-up fans, and even more superlatives. Even the announcement of the 49ers' new food vendor at Levi's Stadium included a video set to dramatic music and best-ever claims: President Al Guido twice termed Levy Restaurants "the best in the business," and Levy CEO Andy Lansing gushed "the legacy of the 49ers is second to none.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the San Francisco 49ers are among several teams that have shown interest in former North Carolina State defensive lineman Savion Jackson.
In a social media post, Wilson noted, "Scouting reports praise him for heavy hands, being stout run-stopper."

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the San Francisco 49ers will host former Mississippi State cornerback Decamerion Richardson on a pre-draft visit during the upcoming week.

49ers hosting Florida State LB Tatum Bethune on pre-draft visit

Former Florida State linebacker Tatum Bethune shared on Instagram that he is visiting the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara. He becomes the 15th known player to visit with the team. NFL teams can host up to 30 draft prospects on pre-draft visits.
