49ers focus on front seven in round six, take D.J. Jones and Pita Taumoepenu
Taumoepenu has upside, but at 6-foot-1, 243 pounds, the prognosticators wonder if he has the strength to go up against offensive tackles in the NFL. He is a prime candidate for the practice squad, but could find an opening on the 53-man roster if he shines on special teams.
