The NFL recently announced a restructured offseason schedule that won't see players take part in in-person team activities until after May 17. Even after that, any on-field work will be restricted to no-contact drills. Everything until then will be conducted virtually. Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Las Vegas Raiders players have banded together and announced via NFL Players Association (NFLPA) statements that they will forgo

Everyone is eagerly trying to figure out which quarterback will be selected by the San Francisco 49ers with the No. 3 overall pick. Will it be Justin Fields, Trey Lance, or the less-popular choice of Mac Jones? Whatever the decision, it means the end of Jimmy Garoppolo's time with the Niners is inching closer. The veteran quarterback is expected to remain with the team this season, as head coach Kyle Shanahan and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello get the incoming rookie up to speed. He believes the quarterback is being made a scapegoat for San Francisco's disappointing six-win campaign in 2020. The Speak for Yourself host went on a rant,

The team could also select Justin Fields of Ohio State or Trey Lance of North Dakota State. Head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch are expected to

It's been nearly two weeks since NFL Media analyst Lance Zierlein released his last mock draft. In it, he had the San Francisco 49ers selecting Trey Lance of North Dakota State with the No. 3 overall pick instead of Justin Fields of Ohio State or Mac Jones of Alabama. It doesn't sound like his opinion of what head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch should do come April 29 has changed. While Zierlein's colleagues, Steve Wyche and Maurice Jones-Drew, made excellent cases for Fields to be San Francisco's pick, Zierlein stuck with his choice of Lance and defended the decision during a segment on NFL Network.
