Former hard-hitting NFL safety John Lynch, now the general manager of the San Francisco 49ers, was presented his Hall of Fame ring and honored at Raymond James Stadium during halftime of Monday night's game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants. Lynch was inducted as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2021, rewarding his career with the Buccaneers and Denver Broncos. The nine-time Pro Bowl selection, four-time All-Pro, and Super Bowl XXXVII champion played 15 combined NFL seasons and amassed 1,051 combined tackles, 26 interceptions, 13 sacks, and 16 forced fumbles, per ESPN statistics. Ex-49ers Patrick Willis, Bryant Young, Anquan Boldin among Hall of Fame semifinalists

Former San Francisco 49ers stars Patrick Willis and Bryant Young were among the 26 modern-era players named semifinalists for election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2022. The 49ers made Willis the No. 11 overall draft pick in 2007, and he spent eight seasons with San Francisco before retiring after the 2014 season. He was named to seven Pro Bowls and is a five-time first-team All-Pro. San Francisco made Young the No. 7 overall draft pick in 1994, and he spent 14 seasons with the team. He was named to the Pro Bowl four times and was a first-team All-Pro in 1996. Other former 49ers listed as semifinalists include wide receiver Anquan Boldin and running back Ricky Watters. 49ers' Nick Bosa, Kyle Juszczyk among top vote-getters for Pro Bowl

Voting for the upcoming Pro Bowl has been underway for a while now. The NFL released some stats on the leading vote-getters so far. Two San Francisco 49ers currently lead their respective positions. Kyle Juszczyk leads all fullbacks with 70,362 fan votes. Nick Bosa leads NFC defensive ends with 68,143 votes. Juszczyk, a nine-year veteran, has been named to the last five Pro Bowls, with the first coming in 2016. He is widely considered to be the best fullback in the NFL. Although, his 62.5 overall Pro Football Focus grade this season is his lowest mark since his rookie campaign. 49ers-Seahawks Week 13 matchup flexed out of Sunday Night Football

This news shouldn't come as much of a surprise. The NFL announced that it has flexed the Week 13 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field out of "Sunday Night Football." While the 49ers are getting hot and are 5-5, the Seahawks are an abysmal 3-7. So the game doesn't have as much appeal as the NFL once believed it might.
