The 49ers' mastery over the Los Angeles Rams continued on Sunday, and this time it earned them a spot in the playoffs. The 49ers needed a win over the Rams or a loss by the New Orleans Saints to the Atlanta Falcons in order to advance to the playoffs as a Wild Card. It didn't look promising early in the game,

With an impressive Sunday afternoon 27-24 win against the Los Angeles Rams, it seems like the 49ers are reaching the expectations fans had for the team before the season. Sitting at a 10-7 record with the 6th seed in the NFC, they now look to face the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday. With the 49ers being as dangerous as teams come in the NFL currently, it's hard to remember that, just prior to the season, San Francisco went through an overhaul in terms of organization on the coaching and leadership staff. Multiple 49ers players commented afterwards that the fan presence made the game feel like a home contest. "It definitely did," wide receiver Deebo Samuel said. "I feel like the Rams pumped noise because there wasn't that many Rams fans in here." Linebacker Fred Warner said that one of the officials told him how impressive it was to see
