Just such an enormous bummer. LaMelo's first five games were a bit rough and I think that clouded how unbelievable he's been since then.

Do we have more details other than a high school student? If he was 20 dating a 17 year old that isn't a big deal imo

It's all about optics though. A NBA player shouldn't be doing that kind of thing and he should have known better.

*edit* The age of consent is 18 in California so that's the issue. If she's a junior in high school, that's obviously illegal.
