Did you really want to dump our entire farm system for Lindor?

LOL. You serious right now? I didn't say anything of the sort.
And did you even see what the Mets gave up? If you consider two third tier prospects and a low upside defensive starting level player "dumping the entire farm" I dont know what to tell you.

Not sure what "Oh cool. We inquired about Lindor." is supposed to convey then. Sounds like sarcasm about how we didn't make a serious run at him. Considering we aren't ready to win, and by the time we are he'll be over 30, id say giving up part of a farm system we have finally built into something strong would be an impulsive and risky decision. Not to mention the massive longterm deal he's going to require.
You just seem to feel the need to be negative for no reason.

I just dont wanna hear it 99. I'm not blaming us for not getting him. I'm just sick and tired of the reports that we were "in" on yet another star.
He went elsewhere. It is what it is.

Thats just the media trying to grab attention in the offseason. Most teams were probably "in on him" at some level. Any responsible team with a top half payroll would at least make a call to kick the tires.
If the Red Sox call Farhan and say "Is Yaz available?" and Farhan says "No.", all it takes is the Red Sox to mention in a conference call that they called SF about Yaz, and the media will spin it into "The Giants took calls about Yaz. He must be on the block." Its just the way things get reported now. I dont take much of it seriously anymore. Especially after the Stanton and Harper BS.

Not surprising at all given the fact that the Giants selected Bailey in the first round. There are no untouchables on this team and I'm sure Farhan will listen to all enquiries

Good. Let's package him. Send him to New York for Frazier. Yanks need some serious catching depth. Or go after Ottavino which would be a more realistic move. I know he had an off year but his track record is solid.

Bart still has potential but he wasn't that impressive last year. You think a guy who was touted for power coming up would have at least ran into one last year and it just didn't happen. So... If a good value deal comes around, maybe you consider taking it more seriously than in past years if you are Farhan. Lets hope we see some significant improvement next year whenever he comes up.

The lack of a competitive minor league will hurt his and others development. Manfred needs to fkn get his s**t together stat

no thanks, I would rather have Bart at 1B/DH long term over Frazier.

lol yeah, why would we trade a 24 year old top 50 prospect who plays C for a 26 year old OF that his own team doesn't feel the need to play?

Frazier is good and I would love to have hm. Not for Bart, but would love to have him. The yanks problem is they have way too much talent in the OF and for some reason loved to play Gardner. I think he is gone now. They have a star at catcher now so they wouldn't trade Frazier for a backup anyways.
