Thanx English.
Most of the games have been high scoring back-and-forth contests.
I missed a few on Saturday, as they conflicted with the 3 NFL games.

I'm really interested in the games from this point on, especially the Semi-Final
games this Saturday. I think it's gonna' be LSU vs Clemson in the Final, but
you never know.
🤔
I hate Miami.

Yeah, I'm not to fond of 'The U' either.
That was a low scoring game … still glad about the outcome

At least this Pitt-EM game is somewhat entertaining unlike that dogs**t Miami-LT game.

And didn't even realize til they ran a promo that the CFP semifinal games are this Saturday the 28th instead of New Years Day, and then championship not played until Jan 13th...16 days in between, wtf.

At this time of year it is kind of tricky to keep up with everything! I am several games behind and likely to slip further back shortly! I agree about Clemson LSU although the playoff teams are all strong. This is my favourite time of year! The Bowl Games and the NFL!

There are so many bowl games these days, so I'll speculate scheduling might be more of a problem than it once was.
Also I think the NCAA is mindful to not conflict with the NFL, as its regular season comes to an end … especially since
the NFL switched to the AFC/NFC playing meaningful divisional games during the last few weekends

With so many playoffs scenarios up for grabs so late in the season, casual college football fans who might watch a Bowl
Game, will probably chose the NFL over the NCAA. Again, that's just my theory on the situation.

Last year the Bowl Season ran from 15 December 2018 through 26 January 2019, ending with the Senior Bowl.
The Semi-Final Games were both played on Saturday 29 December 2018, with the Championship being played
on 7 January 2019.

So yeah, they increased the time between games from 9 to 16 days. Go figure …

I know they tried putting CFP semis on New Years Eve but it was a ratings disaster...but with semis on Saturday 28th, not sure why championship can't be on Monday 6th.

Edit: I just saw an article that talked about this, originally semis this year were going to be on New Years Eve, but because of the poor ratings previously on NYE they moved to 12/28...however, for whatever reason semis could be changed but not CG, so it had to remain at the original Jan 13th.

I appreciate the Granddaddy of Them All aspect of the Rose Bowl, but they need to get with the times and make room for the CFP. The Rose Bowl is the reason that the CFP can't just set up shop on Jan 1 every year like it should. Or push back the CFP one more weekend so it gets its own Saturday.
Condoms got kilt! Love it.

I heard their reasoning has to do with the so-called tradition of the NYD Game as well … but just as you stated,
times change. And TBH, I have no idea if the Rose Bowl Committee will ever change their thought processes on
the matter. Maybe in another generation, after all of the 'old guard' are gone, might we see some movement.

I'm also not sure if the RBC is in the camp of Bowl Game Organisers, who wish to see the championship field
expanded to six teams. If so, it's possible that it has some bearing on their decision to stick with the current format.
One thing I do understand is this: the NCAA and it's various conferences, are slow to act on any change(s), unless
such change directly benefits them financially (in a major way).
