Let's be real do you all really think Klay will be back to his normalcy? I'm thinking he's going to take a hit on the defensive side of things. May take him a solid year to get back into form. I hope it goes well for him. He's one of my favorites.

Wiseman needs to develop a pit bull mentality or he will be in for a long one.

They're a .500 team at best right now. All good , I think that's what most of us knew going into this year.
All these random media reports going off about the organizational rift regarding Wiseman and his mins. It's idiotic and I don't even know who the reporter was that leaked it.

Oh boy.
I mean, he's been averaging 20+ per game, got hurt and then forgot to handle his COVID testing. Some of these media folks don't realize that he's NINETEEN. Throwing him out there playing 30+ isn't the same as Ball or Edwards, who both played quite a bit last season. Wiseman is also playing a position that has great demand vs the bigs in the conference.

He's learning, needs to mature, and needs to show consistency. Credit to Lamelo who started out rough and really began earning that starting spot. Ppl forget that their coach actually benched him quite a bit for consistent mistakes and turnovers. With Edwards, it's a different situation since Minny is last in the NBA.

Yep. Our coaching staff is having to balance out trying to compete for this year and building for future years. Unfortunately for Wiseman, the former means he isnt going to play much because him playing has been a detriment to us trying to compete. Unfortunately for the Warriors, the latter means we are looking to the future and dont have the emphasis on this year.

Fans are contradicting themselves a great deal who are clamoring for both. Wiseman has been bad for us. The potential is there, but describing his play so far this season as anything better than bad is a homer viewpoint. I am ok with playing him and letting him take his lumps in hopes of development, but it will come at a major cost to the team trying to win games. Cant have it both ways. Either try to compete or go the development route.

He's only 19.

He's only 19.

I hate to keep belaboring the point here (and I know the Rockets are horrible), but we are a better team when Wiseman doesn't play. Straight up.
