Wish they could get #2,000 at Oracle. Obviously they could if they have an awful road trip, which I guess could happen lol

His management style is outdated in the modern game. The Giants are going to hire someone who is more in tune with the style that baseball is headed towards. He would likely prefer to keep managing, but he realizes the game has kind of passed him by, and its time to call it a career.
His contract is up after this season, and the Giants are going a different direction, so hes just going out on his terms by retiring.
