Regardless if KD comes back or not..I hope Steph gets that elusive finals MVP award. He should have gotten it last year.

Nah. KD deserved the MVP last year. In the important Game 3 that pretty much decided the series Steph went 3-16 from the field including 1-10 on 3s. KD went 15-23 and scored 43 points. People who thought Steph should have won it said that simply because of their love for him and the fact that he hadnt won it before.

I understand being a Curry fan and believing this. I dont understand being an objective observer and having this opinion.

Defensively? I don't know.

Smart and Bledsoe earned it this year, IMO. If overall (offense counting), then yeah, Klay gets the nod but it's all about defense.

Klay was kinda garbage starting out the gate this year. He picked it up prior to the All Star break.

I've noticed Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson make it a point of emphasis to keep repeating Klay is an elite defender.

Remember when Israel Gutierrez got his ass handed to him on live TV claiming Klay sucks at defense? lmao

100% this. Don't get me wrong Bledsoe is good defender but over Klay and Jrue in which they have to guard top PG and SG in the West. The guards in the east is no match on the guard we have on the West. CP3, Harden, Curry, Klay, Dame, CJ, Conley, Fox and Westbrook vs Lowry, Kyrie, Dragic, Lavine, Young, Russell not even close.
