ex-Laker Michael Cooper is a cohost for a local NBA Show that airs after the Finals games on KABC Ch7. he was hinting that something may already be in the works to bring Kawhi to the Lakers. Coop is pretty close to Magic still.

They have 4 assets outside of Ben Simmons and Embiid. I think 3 of those 4 assets may be enough.

Fultz (had a poor rookie season...but he's as talented as they come. Spurs are experts in player development)

10th overall pick
Covington (1st team all defense on a great contract for another 3-4 years)

They also have late 20s pick in the draft to sweeten the pot.

Unless Lakers completely blow them away with an offer (doubt they will)...why would Spurs trade Kawhi to Lakers?
