Every AAF team is assigned to four NFL teams. This means that each AAF team has rights to former players from those four NFL teams that were assigned to them. If a player played for an NFL team or was in training camp with a team, then his rights were given to the respective AAF team.

The Arizona Hotshots were assigned to the 49ers, Cardinals, Bears, and Ravens.

So, go Hotshots today at 5 pm vs. the Salt Lake Stallions.

That hit on Brady would have gotten the player tossed in the NFL. It will be interesting to see how many of these players make their way to the NFL. There are some who have NFL experience at least in camp. There may be some sleepers here. A lot of kids come out of high school and aren't highly recruited so they get ignored in college by their coaches who are partial to the top recruits. No matter what coaches say they do have their favorites. This league may give them a chance to show that they do have ability. Kurt Warner is just one example of someone who just needed a chance.

no doubt. smart for the AAF and NFL to work together like this. im sure we'll see some good stories happening in years from now because of the AAF.

Any games on tv today?

Not sure but yesterday both games were streaming on the aaf.com website

Edit to add that one game today is on NFLN and one on CBS Sports Network. Plus Both will be streaming on their website.

.
Fun fact: Orlando QB Garrett Gilbert's father Gale is the only player in NFL history to play in 5 consecutive Super Bowls. He is simultaneously the only player to LOSE 5 consecutive Super Bowls.

He was the 3rd string QB behind Jim Kelly and Frank Reich in Buffalo for the 90-91-92-93 seasons. He then went to SD to backup Stan Humphries in 1994.

Patton with a few nice catches...then a big drop on 3rd Down that would have been a 1st to keep the drive alive. Went right through his hands.

Hackenberg still = statue, unfortunately.

Agreed, it's almost half time in the Birmingham/Memphis game, usually it takes 2 1/2 hrs to get to half in the NFL, it's only been an Hour and 13 mins.

Stupid fkn names tho

Yeah some of these names are weird for sure. The logo for the Legends reminds me of a Crown, they should have been names the Atlanta Kings or something.
