Remember when Art Briles complained that the College Football Playoff committee didn't have any southerners? I guess he was worried they wouldn't understand the finer points of college football, like how you have to cover up a few rapes to build a championship program

Starr is already getting set up to be the fall guy.
If only somebody had told the coaching staff that rape and sexual assault were bad, things would have worked out a lot better.
There are those among the Baylor leadership who feel the major failings of the BU rape scandal fall on Starr for the school not having a Title IX coordinator from 2011-2014, sources said. If BU had a Title IX coordinator, the football coaching staff would have had training on how to handle any complaints of rape or assault made against football players, sources said.

If they bring Briles back, the message that Baylor is sending is that maintaining the coach of a scandal-ridden football program matters more than the safety of its female students.

Yup. We know its true. They'll trade 10 rapes for a national title.
But they need to at least pretend that isn't true.
