We haven't had back to back Triple Crown winners since Seattle Slew ('77) & Affirmed ('78) for those of you on this board old enough to remember. So,
does Nyquist have what it takes do be a Triple Crown Champion following on the heels of American Pharoah last year?? Your thoughts I'm thinking how nice it would be to have 2 Triple Crown champs in a row again!!

Two horses died in the earlier races. One won the race.

The Preakness is usually the easiest jewel for Triple Crown contenders, not this year. Watch Nyqvist's connections skip the Belmont. Midway on the turn to the home stretch Exaggerator looked like the only horse running. For all you racing fans (If there are any left) watch a replay of Secretariat's Preakness, he was last out of the gate and on the clubhouse turn took off by himself and took the lead without jockey Ron Turcotte lifting a finger.

If you weren't allowed to gamble on horse racing, it wouldnt exist.
