Too bad the refs ruined what was a great game. That foul call on Hicks when the Heels were down 1 with 35 seconds left and the Nova kid even traveled just cemented it. The refs at that level almost make it unwatchable.

Terrible defense at the end of the game, and some ticky tack fouls against unc.

In a big game like this you would think the refs would let them play. There were call ticky-tack fouls. The refs don't huddle up before a game and decide to call t close, that's an NCAA call.

There were 4-5 clear travels missed on Nova, some ticky tack stuff both way but UNC definitely got the bad end and at very critical points in the game. There's a reason a lot of NBA fans can't sit through college games.

Guaranteed. As a whole though the professional game is better reffed than the collegiate game and it isn't really close. Neither level calls carrying, it's sort of something that isn't emphasized at all which is b******t.

I think you were watching the NC broadcast with their announcers. That is why one of them was being a homer and complaining about the refs for NC all game.

There was a Villanova broadcast also.

They said Vill doesn't have a starter in the top 70 for nba draft picks. A true underdog story. Good for them.

Still a lot of people didn't think they would play at that level the entire way. MI State was a 2 seed bruh. Great team effort.

Great effort by both teams, easily the two best teams in the tournament but neither one has an NBA starter in their starting lineups. Was nice to see in this one and done era, it was a throwback game.

Not the case with UNC. Johnson and Paige will become legit NBA starters.
