According to an official press release from the Bucks, Middleton will likely miss six months after he undergoes surgery some time in the next week.

Real bummer for Khris and the Bucks.

Very very under-rated player among the NBA fans.

He's awesome and has so much potential. I think he's gonna be a star in another year or two.
TWolves and KG are in buyout discussions. Hopefully he'll retire afterwards.

Kevin Johnson, disgraced soon-to-be former mayor of Sacramento, reportedly got violent with a protestor tonight at a farm-to-table event in Sacramento. According to the East Bay Express' Nick Miller (an extremely reliable source on these sorts of things), the mayor got hit in the face with a pie, then attacked the protester. Here's Miller:

Sources in attendance have told the Express that, during the meal, a protester ran at the mayor and threw a cake in his face.

After this, Johnson allegedly tackled the protester and hit him multiple times. One witness described it as a "bloody pulp."

There were nearly 200 in attendance at the dinner, including a few dozen high-school students, according to sources.

After the event, sources say Johnson was given a change of clothes and then addressed the audience at the podium, apologizing, and receiving applause.

Yeah I don't get that either. Doesn't matter if it was a cake or not, KJ was defending himself from some random idiot.

I'm glad they applauded him. You hit a man with a cake in the face, you deserve the beating you get if you can't stop that man from doing it. lol
