Amazing finish. Tears your heart out, but they earned it with that effort. QLD had all the momentum down the stretch, the Blues weren't having it. Brilliant try, brilliant series, brilliant Origin.

Don't blame him. If NSW had kicked on & blew the score out at 20-8 there'd be little to be upset about. But to be coming home strong with all the play behind you, only to be hit on the counter, is nothing short of soul crushing.

The boys would have felt like this was their game to win.

Yeah, it's a feeling we're not used to. It's gonna take some time adjusting to this post dynasty era.

Perhaps, Origin will return to the glory years in terms of spectacle where we alternate series victories every other year.

Freddie has the team in a good mindset.

I reckon Qld are a couple of players away from winning again.
Just think we are lacking a bit of firepower, especially at centre.
Hymel Hunt may kick on next year?

A healthy Jake Friend will be a welcome inclusion (not that Hunt was that bad) but would deliver better service.

It will be interesting if Walter's is retained as coach also?

Yeah, I think we need to find a Gordon Tallis type and bring back the "hate" for NSW. My opinion on Freddie and the NSW mindset is, they think they are better than us. It shows up in some of their comments during interviews and let's just say I reckon Fittler has always had a pretty high opinion of himself and it's filtering through to the team.

I don't think Kevvie has done a bad job and there's no doubt he bleeds Maroon, but who knows? Wayne has apparently expressed interest if the position is vacated.
