i wonder how long this was in the works for. maybe Zidane knew that Ronaldo wanted out? and that roster is not young at all anymore, most of their stars are in their 30s. Modric, Kroos, Ramos, Marcelo, Ronaldo, Benzema...Zidane made a great business move by leaving, even with the FO issues, he wouldn't have left if this was 2-3 years ago.

Anyone following the MLS, in particular the Quakes? I don't follow the MLS, but it seems like anything that Lou Wolf touches turns to sh**. They are winless in ten games.

Thank God Chelsea rejected Barca's bids for Willian. Those were ridiculously high bids and Chelsea still rejected them. Phew...that would have been a horrible move. Instead, Barca got Malcolm - who has so much potential. His game reminds me of Robinho...hopefully - he won't stop working hard once gettin' paid.
They have lost so much in the mid-field...that is where I'd focus.
Messi, Suarez, Coutinho, and Dembele are up front...I'd understand if they wanted a true back-up for Suarez (a pure goal-scorer) who can take over in a year or two.
I personally would have gone after Davinson Sanchez or de Ligt at CB and both Youri Tielemans and de Jong for mid-field.
They have lost so much in the mid-field...that is where I'd focus.
