Makes total sense getting the surgery done now. We don't need him to play this year, just need him to get that hip to 100% and polish his game.

For now, we have very good frontcourt depth. Bogut, Green, Ezeli, Speights, J. Thompson, Barnes, McAdoo. Will be even better when Looney jumps in the mix.

I would rather have in on the bench as our top assistant but I doubt that could ever happen. Nice to get him on the team though!
