lol. Yeah obviously nothing crazy but the Giants did indeed request to start on the road because of the higher chances of rain this time of year.

Wow. Such sad news to hear about Lon Simmons. He was one of the greats in both football and baseball. RIP Lon

Broadcast booth @ AT&T should be named in his honor (like the A's did for bill king)... unless they already did so for Russ Hodges

or they can wear a patch all season

Baseball is back baby
Obviously its a different era, with 3 divisions and a Wild Card, but its crazy that AT&T Park has already hosted twice as many World Series' in 15 years than Candlestick hosted in 40 years.

True. Seriously though, could you imagine if they had the wild card along with divisions back in the day? Those playoffs would've been insane. Hank Aaron Lee Braves winning the east, Bob Gibson and the Cards in the central, either the Mays led Giants (who won the most games I'm the 60s) or the Koufax led Dodgers winning the west with the other as a wildcard and possibly the Roberto Clemente led Pirates as the second wildcard. Smh that would've been beyond awesome.
