Yes but Ohtani needs TJ surgery and could miss all next year. Not a great day for the Angels even with the win and Ohtani's 2 homeruns.
With the power this kid has I am not sure I wouldnt just make him an everyday outfielder. He certainly has 30 homerun power and could be an all star outfielder with his combo of power and speed. Tough call.
Cool thanks for ruining my night

TB has as many wins as a lot of teams that are going to make the playoffs and I can't name one player on their team.

You dont know Blake Snell? If not, you should watch him pitch sometime. In my opinion, he should be the Cy Young winner.

They look enthused about being in Tampa Bay.

There are going to be some close votes for the year end awards this year. My votes go this way..............
NL MVP
1) Christian Yelich
2) Javier Baez
3) Nolan Arenado
This is a change for me as I had Baez winning a month ago but its just impossible for me to not give it to Yelich with his 2nd half. Leads league in batting average, slugging average, OPS, while stealing 21 bases.
AL MVP
1) Mookie Betts
2) JD Martinez
3) Mike Trout
Trout is the best player in the game but Mookie has done it all this year and deserves the award. JD a close 2nd
NL Cy Young
1) Jacob deGrom
2) Max Scherzer
3) Aaron Nola
Close race and many will go with Scherzer with his 18 wins, 300Ks, and 0.91 whip. Truly an amazing seaon. However, I cant overlook a 1.77 era. All 3 guys are deserving of winning in any year.
AL CY Young
1) Blake Snell
2) Chris Sale
3) Justin Verlander
Snell may not win it as Sale has the bigger name. However, he leads the league in wins, ERA, and for you sabermetric guys, WAR. He has been virtually unhittable since the AS break with an almost unheard of whip of 0.74. Incredibly deserving and the best pitcher in baseball 25 years or younger.
NL Rookie of the Year
1) Ronald Acuna Jr.
2) Juan Soto
3) Walker Buehler
Great rookie class and all 3 could win the award in most years. Acuna is special though and he has an OPS of 1.046 after the AS break and helped his team to the NL East title. He is truly a 5 tool player. Speed, power, hit for average. You name it he has it.
AL Rookie of the Year
1) Shohei Ohtani
2) Miguel Andujar
3) Gleyber Torres
Yanks have a couple of good ones but Ohtani should easily win the award. 21 homers in only 311 at bats, a .919 OPS, and an era of 3.16 with 63 Ks in only 51 innings makes him the greatest 2 way player since Babe Ruth. Shame he hurt his arm and will need TJ surgery but he can quit pitching forever and still be a stud hitter. Great story this year!

JD Martinez as a close 2nd John? Interesting. I would have him 5th.
