Le Tour 2013

A win for Froome and the U.K. That Columbian rider Quintana is an amazing climber. 2nd place and a podium finish. Tomorrow they finish in Paris at night. I don't believe they have ever done a night finish in Paris before. This is the 100th year so special ceremonies.

Well millions of people would disagree with some of the above posts, I hope this isn't a reflection of the disdain many Americans feel towards the rest of the planet, amazingly there are other countries and other sports outside the US.

By the way, yesterday's action was dramatic to say the least.

Americans cared about the Tour when Greg Lemond and Lance Armstrong were the #1 guys. Most of us dont care about some European we have never heard about.

American Andrew Talansky will likely finish 10th overall in his TdF debut. He's one to watch in the future.

Talansky really had a big tour. This was his first time ever. And he got a top 10 finish. That's amazing. He's got a real shot to be on the podium in future years.
Congratulations to Froome and U.K. on the win. Quintana is an amazing young rider and somebody to keep an eye on in the future. Andy Schleck really dropped off this year. Not sure of all the circumstances. Contador did ok but not his usual standard.
Another outstanding result for British cycling. Froome really does look the real deal and and is a quiet, unassuming guy. Quintana was great, Contador poor. Disappointed for Cavendish in the sprints, had some bad luck. Went to 2 stages, the finish line in St Malo and the time trial at Mont St Michel. Starts in the UK next year, can't wait!

That German sprinter looks beastly (Kittel). I think Cavendish has his work cut out for him now. Stage wins won't be as easy for him now. Contador did drop off. Not sure why? Froome looks like he is good at all aspects. He's great climbing. Good enough at time trials. He sure could be an overall contender for some time. What happend to Andy Schleck?

That will be interesting starting in U.K. next year and ending around Buckingham Palace on the last U.K. day. They have never done that before I believe. It's good for U.K. to have a piece since they have so many of the fans. And like you a lot of them attend the race in France every year.
