I like Willie, but very leery of giving him a huge contract. That said what you see is what you get with him, so I wouldn't expect him to just go in the tank once he gets paid, just don't see him getting any better

I would match Willie on a mid level exception type deal, but his and his agent's latest comments are the turnoff. He says that he wants to be a focal point on offense, not just rim run. He wants to shoot mid-range, get the ball on the post and create. Problem is, he's horrible at it. The Kings have yearned for that from him and he just can't consistently produce.If he was okay with being a rim runner, all effort, defensive guy, I would be excited about giving him 15 per. He doesn't understand that he is hurting his own pocket.

The open market for him will be really interesting

I think it was some mavericks page that someone posted on a kings Facebook page about how all their fans are calling for them to sign him

He averaged 29 minutes with over 13 points and 7 rebounds a game. Not bad.

I'd prefer Capela (or both) just because he's younger and cold be here longer. Horford would be a nice get to help Marv and Harry though.
