Basically can lock him up, give out a max deal, sign a backup (Beverly?) PG for around 12-14mil and still have enough to bring back Brewer

I don't think that's an outrageous deal for Barnes. All NBA contracts are inflated. I think he'll be better for us next season. There will be plenty worse contracts signed this offseason.

Agree. People flipping out about this are hilarious. Barnes an above average player in his prime and is now getting paid less than he was before.

Warriors had to let him go, he's not better than the 4 HOF's they have to pay, don't be a pdizo. Mavs let him go so they could afford Porzingus. Barnes is a good fit on this current Kings roster.
