Great signing! I really hope Neto clears waivers so we can sign him to the minimum.

I think as overall players, Jeff Green and Jae Crowder are mostly a wash. I think Crowder has a tough guy factor that Jeff doesn't. Jeff Brings above the rim athleticism that Jae doesn't.

Free agent guard Emmanuel Mudiay has agreed to a one-year deal with the Utah Jazz, league sources tell ESPN.

Both shoot about the same 3pt% as well. As stated we basically lose the bulldog nature.

Oh wow, didn't see that coming. I honestly don't know that much about him outside of him being kind of a bust.

Emmanuel Mudiay has been an easy target for criticism for a while, but he upped his TS% 5.7% last season compared to 2017-18 while also improving his usage rate 1.7%. He's still just 23 (just 2 days older than Cam Johnson).
— Michael Gallagher (@MikeSGallagher) July 3, 2019
Mudiay's Corner 3 point shooting is interesting: 14 of 36 last season and the year prior he was 14 of 27 and year before that he was 11 for 38. Over the last three years he is 39 for 101 on corner 3.
— David Locke (@Lockedonsports) July 3, 2019
Mudiay's shooting issues have been two part his off the bounce three is bad, 31% on 80 attempts last season, 30% on 56 attempts in 17-18 and 16% on 43 attempts in 16-17. He also has taken and missed too many contested shots 9 of 37 last with defender within 4 feet
— David Locke (@Lockedonsports) July 3, 2019
Mudiay had a significant turnover issue in Denver. However, his turnover percentage has dropped each of the last 4 years from 18% to 16.5% to 16.2% to 14.6%

As @espn_macmahon says, Mudiay's development stands to continue an upward trajectory with coach Quin Snyder and Mike Conley Jr. The Jazz program is significant reason why Mudiay's agent, BJ Armstrong, believed Utah's such a good fit for his 23-year-old client. https://t.co/0QMQmMVXVC

I'm blown away with the amount of depth this team now has. I'm seriously shocked. This may be one of the best put together Jazz teams of all time and they're not done.
