Exum was the deal breaker in the Conley deal? Dudes a bust, who cares? Just trade him and get who you want.

Jazz PG Dante Exum will be missing at least 2 more weeks. Further examination of his sprained ankle yielded the discovery of a bone bruise, which will require additional recovery. Jazz medical personnel stress this is NOT a new injury, but a byproduct of the ankle sprain.

This ankle sprain must have been insane.

Either that or the medical staff is terrible. Frustrating.Originally posted by JustinMT:Jazz PG Dante Exum will be missing at least 2 more weeks. Would be nice to have an athletic point guard who could guard Westbrook.

Can't hate PG for the game winner. That was impressive, but I'm gonna hate him for all the no calls he got while guarding Donovan. Pretty much proves how blind the refs become when it concerns the star players. f**king Rubio needs to go though. Like my god Lindsey, what more do you need to see to know he's not gonna get us anywhere past the first or second round? Donovan needs some help not a turnover prone dude who can't shoot for s**t.

Yup. It just sucks when player A gets a touch foul on one end and player B get ignored on the exact same foul the very next possession. It's hard to watch.Originally posted by JustinMT:Can't hate PG for the game winner. That was impressive, but I'm gonna hate him for all the no calls he got while guarding Donovan. As far as Rubio. He has some great moments but he's average at best. 8 turnovers to 6 assist is terrible and he hurts the entire team not being a legitimate threat to defenses. He's a likeable dude but he's the weak link on this team. Sadly Exum is as brittle as glass.
All that and we still had many chances to win and just gave it away every damn time.

What a game. Donovan was way too predictable last night. He was driving to his right and going for the layup every time, easy for them to come over and help and just box out Gobert. That game was yours, that will be a fantastic series. Old school basketball both teams have 1-5 positions, i love it.

I can't take another Utah vs OKC series. The anxiety when these two teams play is too much.Originally posted by DynastyChile:What a game. Donovan was way too predictable last night. Don't blame you. You could feel the tension in West LA. Could cut it with a butter knife

Its intense, its gotten back to the old Sonic and Jazz rivalry level I think. I agree on Donovan being too predictable and I think a lot of that falls on Snyder. He thinks he can play ISO ball with Mitchell late in games and it doesn't work against the really good teams especially when they have good defensive guards like PG.

Its a problem when you know Rubio can't shoot (although he hit a big one last night), and you just have to make sure Ingles is guarded. That makes it tough to get spacing for DM. I think it would be more effective to have Rubio pick and roll w Gobert in that situation and have DM play off ball is some instances to get the defense to react and free up DM. Esp with PG, when DM is only 6'3

I completely agree and its worked well at times. The problem is that Rubio is the worst at throwing lobs. I have no idea why but he is, so if Rudy gets free for an alley oop on a pick and roll with Ricky its likely to be a lost possession. He's so bad at it, its why they trust Ingles or Donovan more on the pick and rolls to the hoop. However, if the defense collapses than it definitely helps out DM a lot; especially, since his shot has gotten better in the last couple months.
