Out again today. It's being framed as he didn't hurt it during the Derby. And that's Melvin saying that, although I wouldn't be surprised if that's just the story he's presenting to the public, but to himself he's screaming I TOLD YOU SO because he didn't want Cespedes to participate.

Ok, as soon as the Astros series is over Beane needs to trade Young for any type of hitter that has +.250 average (even if giving up power). Maybe Ichiro is available?
In any case, 1-2 new bats are needed, and soon. Green doesnt look like hes ready yet so a Righty 2B/SS and another outfielder (see above) is needed, pronto. Batting .204 with a .272 OBP in July is terrible.
