20 games above .500

Not even the All Star break yet

Not truly impressed until this team starts completing sweeps. They are so good that it should happen more often than once a blue moon.

I don't know about Gwynn, but Craig's has to be over 300 ABs (two seasons)

He only has 243 this season. Last season he was over .400 w/ RISP

Matt Carpenter on Jim Rome. Carpenter talks about how he lost 50 lbs to go after his dream of playing baseball.

He has been everywhere lately (ESPN, MLB Network, etc)

Damn. Oh well.

First time Miller has allowed 4 runs
Need to focus on just winning the series now. Stupid Reds and Bucs won't go away.

Mujica made it interesting (for once), but he finishes it off.

W 43-23

Wainwright only pitcher in MLB w/ 10 wins. Went 7 and allowed 0 runs again. Also recorded his 1,000th K.

10-3
2.18 ERA
97K
1.01 WHIP

Just filthy.

After his shaky opening day, he has been ridiculous. Keeps this going and he will def get strong consideration for CY award

Wacha sent down. Makes sense. They're building him just like they are Carlos Martinez. Both have ridiculous stuff, but send him down and keep Lyons (the lefty in the rotation to replace Garcia)

Carlos Martinez will be in the rotation next year.

Next year will be

1. Wainwright
2. Lynn
3. Miller
4. Martinez
5. Wacha

I think we cut ties w/ Garcia
