Sometimes the way Matheny manages doesn't make sense to me. Both Rosenthal AND Mujica were in this 7-1 game tonight. Why? A few days ago they were "unavailable" due to pitching too much. Because of that, Mitchell Boggs was used and got rocked again.

It is 7-1. Save your big guns for those 2-1, 1-0, 3-2 games. Throw in Keith Butler and let him finish off this blowout.

Bullpen mismanagement is not a "complaint." It is baseball strategy that needs to be followed. It's a long season with many ups and downs. Wasting effective relievers is dumb.
