the giants should know that

definitely is far from over.

Anibal Sanchez has a good history vs. the Giants. And I am sure the D will be energized by their home crowd.

It's over.

According to this guy, it's over.... for the Giants.

lol that was sooo damm funny, is this guy for real? The Reds and Tards would have beat the A's and the Yankees in the playoffs, he calls the Giants Pitching Pea shooters? We have the best pitching staff by far in all of MLB. I do not understand how the east coast writers missed this and said that the Tigers have better pitching then the Giants? CRACK HEADS ALL OF THEM!!
Everyone was talking about how the Tigers pitching came alive in the post season

^ that's were the nut ridding came from

THE NUT HUGGING CAME FROM THE EAST COAST AND ALL WERE RIDING THE NUTS OF VERLANDER, I BET HIS NUTS HURT WHEN HE WAS OUT PITCHING GAME 1. IT WAS THE WORSE CASE OF NUT RIDING ONE PITCHER TO WIN THE WS I HAVE EVER SEEN. THE GIANTS STARTING PITCHING IS BY FAR THE BEST 5 IN ALL OF MLB. WHAT WAS SO HARD FOR THEM TO SEE THIS?

lol dude Verlander is the best pitcher in the game. When he's got control of all his pitches like he did up until that first game he's nearly un hittable. Giants pitchers are good but they don't have a guy who can touch 100mph on his 125th pitch of the game that's for sure. Verlander is an alien, and aliens have off days too.

AND THIS IS THE MID WEST BRO SAVE THAT EAST COAST s**t FOR YANKEE DICK RIDERS

GIANTS RACKED HIM GOOD CAIN IS THE BEST PITCHER IN ALL MLB. BOCHY IS OUT COACHING EVERYONE IN THE POST SEASON AGAIN, HE IS MAKING ALL THE RIGHT MOVES, HIS COACHS AS WELL. CAN'T SAY THE SAME FOR THE TIGERS COACHES, THE 3RD BASE COACH SHOULD BE FIRED ON THE SPOT FOR LETTING FAT BOY TRY AND SCORE WITH NO ONE OUT? WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING?? ALSO LELAND PLAYING THE INFIELD BACK TO GIVE UP 1 ONE RUN WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. COST THEM THE GAME. LITTLE DUMB MOVES EARLY AND LATE IN A TIGHT GAME SEPARATES THE GREAT FROM THE SO SO. WE STILL HAVE A LOT OF BASEBALL TO PLAY SO LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS......

COULDN'T AGREE MORE

LETS DO THIS s**t

HURRICANE / DEVILS NIGHT / DETROIT ROCK CITY

Verlander is very good, but McCarver keeps saying things about him, followed by "All the great ones do." and then compares him to Bob Gibson. Its ridiculous to put him in that class yet. He was always a very good pitcher, but it wasnt until last season that he put it all together for a full season. hes been elite for 2 years now, and hes being treated like a lock for the HOF.

We just got tired of the HOF introduction tribute he got from all the FOX pre game guys for hours before first pitch. It made slapping him around more enjoyable.

And there are a large handful of SP in baseball that are "un-hittable" when they have control of all their pitches. Hes probably the best in baseball at this time, but its not by a huge margin. Clayton Kershaw is right up there with him.

Maybe Game 3 will be better?

Rating for Game 2 is record low

NEW YORK -- The Giants' shutout of the Detroit Tigers drew a record-low television rating for Game 2 of the World Series.

San Francisco's 2-0 win Thursday night on Fox earned a 7.8 fast national rating and 12 share, down 12 percent from last year's St. Louis Cardinals-Texas Rangers matchup. The previous low was an 8.1 for the 2008 Philadelphia Phillies-Tampa Bay Rays series.

Fox said Friday the rating was up 3 percent from the Giants' rout in Game 1 on Wednesday.

The "Thursday Night Football" Buccaneers-Vikings game on NFL Network went up against the World Series for the first time and had 5.2 million viewers, not including fans in the Tampa and Minneapolis areas who watched simulcasts on local channels. That's down from a season average of 7.1 million. The World Series was watched by 12.3 million people on Fox, which is available in about 60 percent more homes than NFL Network.

Ratings represent the percentage of all American homes with televisions tuned to a program. Shares represent the percentage of all homes with TVs in use at the time.

That is crazy !

If you think about it, the NFL probably has over 5 million viewer minimum every night of the week, even if was 7 days a week like other sports.

5 million viewers on aThursday , while competing with the World Series

the east coast doesnt watch west coast games, nor do they care about what happens if the major market east coast teams arent playing.

You will take Tim Lincecum or Madison Bumgarner over Justin Verlander? LOL

he was saying in the WS. Verlander is either 0-2 or 0-3 in WS games. Great pitcher, but you need to produce in the biggest moment.

I never saw Jim just say in the WS games. He didnt. Obviously he couldnt be talking WS because he included Kershaw who has never pitched in one.. Verlander has been lights out in these playoffs and then had one bad game, Bumgarner was awful until Game 2. Timmy was so bad that he isnt even getting a start, To say that you would take either over Verlander is simply nuts,

I am trying to help him. I take Verlander all day, dude has the sickest stuff. I am trying to read into his, " GREAT WS" part.
