I dont see any chance of the Yankees winning this series if Jeter is out

Girardi just said Jeter is done. 3 month recovery time. Yankees are screwed, and im totally fine with it. lol

I'm not fine with it at all. Jeter is the ultimate class act and I hate seeing him go down. I dont want any team to have their star players injured at this point.

screw the Yankees. Nobody is going to feel bad that their chance at a 28th title just got more unlikely.

If they get knocked out again, its just another year where buying a title fails. Im always in favor of that.

Whatever man. These comments dont surprise me coming from you.

Yeah, im so radical for disliking the Yankees and the way they go about their business. Its not like 99% of the rest of all baseball fans love seeing the Yankees lose.

You have no class at all for actually being "totally fine" with Jeter being seriously hurt. Like I said, it doesnt surprise me, I want the Giants to win the WS against the best teams and with everyone at full strength. Let the best team win.

You like to take peoples words, and then derive your own meaning from them and form an opinion. I never said Jeter's injury was what I liked. I like that they will now have a hard time continuing on. Why would I enjoy a player getting hurt? I enjoy the Yankees chances of making it further getting slimmer, and I guarantee im in the majority among baseball fans.

If it comes down to winning a WS against a weakened opponent, or losing one against one at full strength, ill take the win. flags fly forever, and part of winning a title is dodging and overcoming the injuries/hurdles of a season,. I hate to see a player get hurt, but better the Yankees than the Giants. When we lost Posey last year, AZ fans were happy. not because Posey got hurt, but because now their path to another ring got a little easier.

Jeter fractured ankle. He is done and so are the Yanks

Lucky MFers, these Tigers. Didn't even deserve to be in the playoffs over Tampa and Anaheim and now they're going to the World Series. Hope the Giants/Nats crush them in 4.

You might want to check ESPN. The Nats have been eliminated. LOL

lol, and I even watched them blow that massive lead last night. So unbelievable that I forgot it actually happened.

Oh...it happened

You would have been the first one crying like a baby if someone posted in here about how happy they were that the Giants were screwed last year after Poseys injury. See, that is the difference between me and you. I cant watch Jeter being carried off with a fractured ankle and get even 1 piece of enjoyment out of it. He is a class act and I hate the fact that he got hurt. You get a smile on your face because it may be easier for the Giants now.

Sad seeing Jeter's career possibly ending like that. Too many greats leaving the game this year. Chipper, and now likely Jeter. Also Rolen.

I like that the Yankees are now at a disadvantage. Thats all.

Damn...even though I can't stand the Yankees and Derek Jeter - I hate to see someone get injured. Probably for the first time, I felt bad for the guy.

lol
that part when they bring up Strasburg is hilarious
"Bryce Harper was too young to sip champagne anyways.."
Hate the Yankees but respect Jeter. That sucks.
Jeter will back . 3 month recovery and this HOF'r has baseball(Yankee ) in his blood. May be the one man who loves the game and his team more than T. Lasorda ? We are witnessing a player with M Jordan like stature in his sport . Legendary for sure and ironic that he wears those MJ cleats. If ever there was another athlete worthy of honoring that Flight logo , DJ is all that! God speed DJ. As for the Yanks, they simply aren't hitting and will not advance playing like this. Cano = 2-27?? Swisher sucks balls. Ichiro kicks ace. Pettite = HOF'r . What a gamer. Come on Bronx Bombers . Wake the F up!
