But whenever someone brings up Matt Holliday I immediately think of the stupid trades we've done

Traded Andre Ethier for Milton Bradley
Traded Carlos Gonzalez for Matt holliday then traded Holliday for Brett Wallace who we traded for Michael Taylor. Taylor is 26 anpd still in triple A

Another one I think of is that we kept Chavez and gave him the big contract instead of Tejada. I hope we don't decide to keep Reddick over Cespedes if the A's keep 1 of them like they did with Chavy

those trades were done on purpose

personally I feel like either the Nats or Reds will come out of the NL, I will always root for my Giants but that's just my gut feeling. In the AL I see the A's coming out, their run reminds me of many teams from different sports who have gotten hot at the right time in recent years and won it all (SF Giants, Packers, STL Cardinals, NY Giants, LA Kings)
