Nice win!
Tiger made an unannounced visit to the wounded warriors over the weekend to hang with some wounded vets. Real cool.

Great win by Tiger and he is now the leader to be Player of the Year with his 3rd win. However, he measures success by winning majors and I think that puts extra pressure on him. I think it clearly affected him in both majors this year - especially in the Open. If he would just treat those like Arnie's or Jack's tourneys I think he could win a few more and come close to Jack's 18. I dont think he will win 5 more though.

Why don't you think he'll catch Jack? I'm curious to hear your answer since you're a fellow golfer as well

Because its not easy to win majors when you get into your 40s. Tiger will face an incredible amount of pressure each major and I think that will be too much in the end to win 5 more. I also think the competition is much stronger now than ever before with some of the young guns ready to win big tourneys.
I am not saying he cant do it. I just think its more likely that he wont. Time will tell.

As much as I would like to see him do it, I agree with you. More likely that he will not, IMO.

It is a lot of pressure, but his new swing is coming together now that he's healthy. It will be tough, but I think 2 or three easy. If he gets rolling, you never know.

I dont know man. He has lost a lot of distance. He only hit his drive 346 on 18 on Sunday and then had to go way up to a 9 iron when he was 190 out.

My jaw dropped when the announcer said that he was using the 9 to go 188 yards. I'm lucky if I can hit a 3 wood that far.

Adds about 15% distance at that altitude
