If true, not surprised. RT @colin_dunlap: Graham sent a text to his Dr of Ops to then forward to his players...didn't notify them himself
Personal experience with Graham. RT @abuchanan45 @YahooForde Why wouldn't you be surprised?

Graham reportedly told players on 1/7/07 he was staying. Before week was out, he was gone, players last to kno. Graham = liar, a--hole.

would love to hear ASN's thoughts on the Graham hire, there seems to be a lot of drama behind it

I'm lukewarm to it. Not excited, but we could have done worse. I think he has better pedigree then Sumlin or Fedora. But obviously with how quick he is to leave jobs is very concerning. I'm kind of more excited about who he brings in for his staff than I am about him. I think he will suceed or fail based on the staff he brings in, and if he can keep our huge class or if they all go to UCLA (who hired our recruiting coordinator).
I think the last 4 coaches at ASU were fired due to poor performance. So if Graham leaves because of a better offer, hell that will be an improvement, lol!
Another problem is he has no ties to the West Coast, so not sure how he is going to recruit in the PAC-12....We need guys that can recruit SoCal....
As far as players calling him a liar and blah blah blah, STFU and grow up. He is a coach, its a job. He is not obligated to stay at a coaching position when a better off comes in. He is a free person able to choose where he goes. As far as him "lying" about wanting to stay at Pitt, what is he suppose to say? List off every job he would take over Pitt? Every single coach in the nation in college says X College is a dream job but in reality they are hoping they can win and move up the ladder.
I'm a huge believer that a strong coaching staff is needed to win rather then just one great head coach. So hopefully he can go get us some good coaches to fill our staff.
Edit: I wonder if we could get Dirk Koetter as our OC now that Jack Del Rio is fired Koetter's offense was outstanding, he just couldn't recruit and didn't know anything about D.
