Here's a boxscore from his last career game there. Certainly appears to be the starting PF.

They started 3 forwards that game with no center, he plays SF

You didn't answer my question - who was playing PF then?

They can list whatever letter they want next to your name (almost no college teams designate a particular player as a center). But the guy who guards the opposing team's biggest player, best rebounder, etc. can be referred to as the center, even if he has an "F" next to his name in the boxscore. That would be Rick Jackson in that lineup. The power forward would be Wesley Johnson. Just like how in this boxscore:

http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?id=270427009

You would say Stephen Jackson was the starting PF in that game and Richardson was the starting SF, even though they both have SG next to their name...i.e. if you're guarding Dirk, you're playing power forward, or at least certainly not guard, lol.

In other words, if that 'Cuse lineup had to play a game vs. the Orlando Magic, Rick Jackson would be guarding Dwight Howard and Wesley Johnson would be guarding Ryan Anderson...henceforth Johnson=PF
