I 100% assumed Gio would be traded this year. Has the most value, lots of talent, but can be erratic. Granted he has been great this year

I mean seriously, what has he done since 2000-2004?

2004 traded Nelson Cruz for garbage
2005 traded Tim hudson for garbage again, i know we had to trade him cause of cash problems, but we couldnt get anyone better?
2005 Andre Ethier traded for Milton bradley bradley ended up getting DFAed

2008 We trade Carlos Gonzalez and Houston street for Matt holliday
and then Holliday for Brett Wallace, who we traded for Michael Taylor
Brett Wallace is batting .300 for the Astros, while Taylor is struggling in triple A

and all we do is sign washed up scrubs like Matsui

he has lost his touch

Oh yah and I forgot to mention him choosing to build our team around Chavez instead of tejada

I would really like to see what Beane can do when he has the green light to spend. He's been working with a budget during his tenure.
